Book a table at TATSUMI

Please take a moment to read the following terms and conditions of booking before making your reservation with us.

<Tables>
We are a small restaurant with only 8 tables in the dining area. Please be kind and considerate enough to inform us of any change of your reservation 2 hours before your original booking time.

<Group Booking>
We don’t take any group booking larger than 5 guests in the dining area nor change the layout of tables for large group reservations.
6 or more guests will be arranged in a private room.

Our private room can accommodate up to 12 people maximum, and unfortunately, we cannot take any bookings exceeding 12 people.

<Reservation>
We are not taking A la carte reservation between 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
If the table is still available on the day, we will take A la carte booking.

The Degustation Menu (please allow minimum 1 day for preparation) and the Banquet Menu reservations are available any working days and hours.
Please let us know any dietary requirements for you and your guests for us to deliver a smooth and safe service for your needs.

<Menu>
Degustation Menu is made by our owner-chef Koichi’s signature plates. These are 7 courses by individual plates with beautiful presentations and special dishes. It is recommended for a memorable dinner for a special occasion. This menu is available for 1 to 6 people, booking is required at least 1 day in advance.

Banquet Menu is designed as a share-style dish. These are the most popular dishes from our A la carte menu and you can try lots variety of our beautiful dishes. This menu is available from 2 to 12 people.

# Both Banquet and Degustation Menu offer Gluten-free (no celiac), Vegetarian (no vegan), Daily free, and Pescatarian options. 

<Credit Card Policy>
All reservations must be proceeded by a valid credit card to confirm your booking. No deposit will be charged to your card. 
Our reservation platform is operated by “ResDiary” which guarantees to maintain the privacy of the data provided through the use of STRIPE which performs this function applying the highest safety standards worldwide.

<Cancellation>
No deposit will proceed on your reservation, but you must give us at least 2 hours’ notice of any change of your booking or cancellation. Failure to notice will cause you a cancellation fee of $50 per person.
“ResDiary” will send you a Confirmation Email 24 hours in advance of your reservation. If there is no sign of confirmation from guests by 3 pm on the day of reservation will account for the cancellation of your booking.

<Younger Guests>
Please dine before 19:30 if your booking includes any child under 6 years old.
Also please inform us in advance if you have a pram with you as our seating with space is limited.

<Your Seating> 
For all the reservations before 7 pm, we allow 2-hours of dining time from your original booking time as your table will have another booking potentially. (In case you choose Degustation menu, it will be 2.5 hours). To offer the best dining experience for all the customers, unfortunately, we need to cancel the booking after 15 minutes of delay from your original booking time.

<Parking>
We don’t have customer parking, so please allow yourself plenty of time to find a parking space. It can be very difficult to find parking in Queenstown especially in a high season.

<Wheelchair Access>
We locate upstairs on the building and afraidly the premises do not have a lift or an escalator.
